Our special natural felted fabric is made out of Icelandic wool felted into different layers of cotton.
Wool layers are carefully placed by hand before the actual felting process begins.

The focus in our designs is molding wool into straight and edgy forms.
This wool fabric is all made in Iceland at our own wool mill in a small town called Seyðisfjörður.
There the wool is gathered from farmers around who let their sheep run free in nature.
The Icelandic sheep is a unique breed because of an over 1000 years of total isolation and no contact
with other breeds have protected its purity.

Care

• Handle your wool garment with care. Hand wash gently in lukewarm water (30°C / 85°F).
• Dry flat and pull carefully into shape. Often it is enough to air or steam your garment.
• All wool will pill to a certain degree mostly in contact areas.
• Pilling is a natural characteristic of wool this is only a temporary condition.
• When pills appear the balls can be removed easily by cutting or carefully shaving the pills.
• Be careful not to pull at the pills as that will tear the fabric.
• The fabric is partly handmade which means that no two items are the same.
